Sophisticated Hen Party
Ladies ...do you really want to go night-clubbing? If you do then The Island is not for you! This is the place where you go to to just relax, have a giggle with your bridesmaids, your Mum and your aunties. DAY ONE - Come on over...race around and bagsie your beds! Bring your fizz and your nibbles and get the party started right away. We think for your first night bring something already cooked...maybe a giant lasagne and a stack of garlic bread, dips and nibbles and obviously some kind of cake or two! No doubt you'll have some balloons (talk to us if you want us to supply some ready for you). I bet you'll have some silly games, you know ...the ones that make you belly-ache laugh. Maybe you have some silly outfits for your hen to wear and cut-out faces of the groom? Have your cameras ready for some pics to share on the wedding day and of course on your socials (don't forget to tag us!). Then when you can laugh no more; get yourself stripped off and into the HOT TUB and look out over the lake. Does life get much better than this? DAY TWO...have a lay-in...I mean how often do you get to do that? What will you do for lunch? Maybe you have thought to all bring different pizza toppings and a stash of pizza bases...just build-your-own pizza and pop it in the pizza oven for a few minutes...bingo...that's lunch sorted! Now for the afternoon, did you book paddle-boarding at Hardwick Water sports or something a little more exhilarating; a Ringo ride? Wake-boarding lesson? Of course you'll get back from there starving so next up...........BBQ using our outdoor kitchen and sit around chatting, laughing and really getting to know each other...because of course there is usually someone you have never met before on a hen weekend, maybe now they are your new best friend? Then what? Who will hit THE WONKY BAR and have a sing-a-long to all your favourites by linking your devices up to the Juke Box and who will be the ones to slope off and sink into bed happy but really really exhausted? DAY THREE have you booked in with Waterside Therapy Rooms or maybe you have planned in advance and the beauty & massage therapists are coming to you? Yes that's right, you don't even need to move from the island. The therapist will come over (they drive boats too)! they will set up and you can have a gorgeous massage or facial ...pure bliss! What will you do later? Will it be all hands to the deck to create a lavish meal you can sit round the table to or will you just call in for a takeaway ..they will deliver to the jetty! However you spend your time, we think you will be sad to leave on DAY FOUR ...Bon Voyage ladies, thank you for visiting The Island in Oxfordshire xxxx ...now whose getting married next?
