This is a real island in the middle of a water-skiing lake. Its quirky and fun yet peaceful and relaxing all in the same breath! Fabulous for group bookings. One side of the lake is Hardwick Water Sports and the other side is Waterside Therapy Rooms, home of The Hideaway Clinic. You can fish from the island, chill out in the hot tub or *party in The Wonky Bar. There are 10 double bedrooms, all can be made up as twins plus an epic indoor games room and bar.
The Island comes with two small motor boats. You need to designate two drivers, they must be 25+ and hold a valid drivers license. Prior to arrival video instructions are sent to your drivers and they are greeted on the arrival day to check they are happy and competent with driving the boats. You are then free to be transported to and from the island by your own drivers whenever you wish.
You can swim in the lake next door in season but not in the lake the island sits in as it is a waterskiing lake.

"My family and I had the best Christmas ever on The Island! Adele and Lynda were fantastically helpful from start to finish and The Island itself is truly spectacular. From going over by boat, having the private chef cook dinner for us in the beautiful dining room, chilling in the hot tub and taking in the stunning views, relaxing in the lounge in front of the log burner, to playing pool and making the most of the other games and facilities - everything was brilliant and I can't overstate how amazing it felt to have an entire island to ourselves! The house is stylishly decorated and there are so many lovely, thoughtful touches for guests to enjoy. I can't wait to go back and enjoy it in the summer!"
