This is a real island in the middle of a water-skiing lake. Its quirky and fun yet peaceful and relaxing all in the same breath! Fabulous for group bookings. One side of the lake is Hardwick Water Sports and the other side is Waterside Therapy Rooms. You can fish from the island, chill out in the hot tub or *party in The Wonky Bar. There are 8 double bedrooms (6 can be made up as twins) plus an Epic Dorm Room designed NOT just for kids! The 8th room has a lovely little roof terrace off of it.
The Island comes with two small motor boats. You need to designate two drivers, they must be 25+ and hold a valid drivers license. Prior to arrival video instructions are sent to your drivers and they are greeted on the arrival day to check they are happy and competant with driving the boats. You are then free to be transported to and from the island by your own drivers whenever you wish.
You can swim in the lake next door in season but not in the lake the island sits in as it is a waterskiing lake.

"What can I say other than WOW!!! We had the most perfect stay at The Island for a business retreat I had organised. It is by far the best accommodation I have stayed in, every single detail had been thought of, it was clean, smelt INCREDIBLE! (Those reed diffusers have already been added to my basket), the property is immaculate, you could never get bored here and once you are on the island there is absolutely no need to leave, there is so much to do, plenty of places to relax and entertain yourself and others! I am already working out logistics and planning a return trip for my 30th! Adele and her family are so accommodating, they made us feel so welcome and we cannot recommend the island highly enough!"
